bringing lunch to work

I’m starting to realize that bringing lunch to work is actually easier than deciding what to eat for lunch every. single. day.  Since I work in Century City (a cluster of high-rises in West Los Angeles), the lunch options here are quite pricey.  I always feel like I’m deciding between a healthy but expensive lunch ($14 salad) or an unhealthy, cheaper lunch ($8 burger & fries).  As you can see, the “cheaper” lunch isn’t even that cheap!  The least expensive option would be the $4 soups I could get from downstairs.  But that’s neither healthy (unless you consider corn chowder healthy) nor filling.

So I’ve decided to make a greater commitment to bringing my lunch.  At least a few times a week.
